Required Job Experience


  • 5 years experience in IT or telecommunications project management (hardware deployment and managed services)
  • Experience managing national multi-site IT/telecom installations and rolloutsCustomer Service experience
  • Experience with networking, low voltage, digital signage, and similar products and systems desired

Required Degrees, Skills, and/or Certifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Engineering, IT or other technical degree a plus)
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Technical Certifications a plus (CompTIA+, Cisco, MS, etc.)
  • Demonstrated good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong project management skills managing complex, multi-faceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth

Job Description

The Project Manager will manage multi-technology installation projects to service a national footprint of multi-site customers.  Work closely with the Program Manager to ensure project success and with other project support staff to execute the project plan for all customers, and ensure post-installation activities are completed in a timely manner.


  • Manage the customer experience and meet or exceed all project requirements
  • Ensure gross profit margin is maintained or improved during the life of the project
  • Provide customer written and verbal reports, provide project status, and attend all customer conference calls/meetings as required
  • Develop and execute the project plan including scheduling, staging, installation guide development, reporting and other project activities and milestones
  • Ensure both external and internal project milestones and metrics are met or exceeded
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that the department maintains cash flow by rapid completion and invoicing
  • Ensure the project follows established customer- and Trextel-specific processes including Statement of Work (SoW), Installation Guides, Staging Guides, etc.
  • Other responsibilities as required by senior management
