Required Job Experience

 

  • Project Coordinator at Trextel or similar company
  • Prior level 1 or 2 help desk preferred
  • Customer Service experience
  • Telecommunications/Data/Video experience preferred

Required Degrees, Skills, and/or Certifications

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening skills
  • Problem solving/resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet all project milestones and tasks on time
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to accurately document information

Job Description


The Project Coordinator will work at the direction of the Program Manager to assist the Client Services team on customer deployments, including recruiting and selecting technicians, scheduling work, and submitting staging requests.  Works with the Project Manager and Support Center to effectively manage the planning and implementation of multi-technology solutions for our customers. This position assists the Project Manager in managing the project plan, including development/delivery schedule. Accountable for meeting project schedules and costs to insure that scope of project has been met. Ensures that approved methods, processes and tools are consistently used. Customer-facing interaction may be required (phone calls, emails, etc.)

Duties:

  • Assist Project Managers with recruiting and selecting technicians
  • Create customer site visit work schedules working with the Project Manager
  • Submit staging requests
  • Schedule field technicians for work at customer sites
  • Secure lifts, certificates of insurance, or other site-specific requirements prior to site installation date
  • Provide timely follow-up, both written and spoken with peers and across lines in the organization.
  • Provide back up to Project Managers during peak project times, vacation, etc.
  • Update and maintain the workflow items in a Trextel’s job management portal.
  • Other responsibilities as required by senior management
