Inside Sales Account Executive
The Inside Sales Account Executive will assist the Channel Sales Director in expanding sales with defined accounts and AT&T account teams so that revenue and profit objectives are met. The job includes working with the Channel Sales Director on projects that may grow in scope to above $250,000 in annual revenues.

John leads Trextel’s business development, sales, sales engineering and marketing initiatives. He brings broad leadership and in-the-trenches experience gained from over 22 years at Motorola Inc. Most recently, as Motorola’s MSSSI Vice President, Command and Control Solutions for North America, John led sales and business development for this strategic growth sector, offering complex IT solutions to enterprise clients including SaaS, mobile and data mining solutions, collaboration tools and operational applications. Previously he held positions at Motorola including VP of Sales as well as MSSI Vice President and Director, Federal Wireless Mobility and Alliances, where he managed multiple sales teams and delivered solutions to many US agencies. It’s safe to say he is broadly conversant in every technology out there. John holds a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Widener and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.
James brings 30 years of technology and leadership experience to Trextel, with expertise in startup, turnaround and M&A environments. As co-founder and vice president of Optimus Solutions in Norcross, Georgia, he dramatically grew its refurbished hardware, data center consolidation and asset recovery programs. The company was named to CRN’s Rising Stars Top 25 and was number seven on the VAR Fast 50 by VAR Business. That business was spun off as Canvas Systems, which under James’ leadership for another 10 years, continued its growth trajectory. When Canvas was acquired by Avnet, James expanded its services business with a focus on managed sales, customer and vendor relations, and compliance. James earned a BA in Political Science from Vanderbilt University and holds numerous technology certifications including Six Sigma, change management and ISO 9001/14001.
Deeply experienced in the IT industry with a focus on national deployments and managed services solutions for large, multi-site customers, Craig is responsible for the growth and satisfaction of Trextel’s partners and customers. Prior to joining Trextel in 2009, Craig was senior sales executive for ADComm for 14 years. He received a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from The University of Georgia.
With over 20 years of communications and operations experience, Cary was formerly Executive Vice President of Richardson Technology Systems, where he managed the operations, sales and administration departments and simultaneously increased both revenues and profitability during his tenure. Other experience includes roles in operations, project management, and sales, at BellSouth and consulting work with national wireless providers. He began his career as an electrical engineer for the United States Air Force.
Derek was recently named Trextel’s Chief People Officer to meet the expanding demands of the growing organization. With a focus on delivering excellence in customer service, Trextel is committed to building the organization with the best talent that aligns with its values and mission. Previously, Derek served as President of Trextel for over five years and during this time, he was heavily involved with many aspects of human resources activities. Before joining Trextel, Derek spent 15 years with AUS Information Systems, where he rose to the position of Vice President of Operations. Derek graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
As the key leader guiding Trextel’s corporate strategy and vision, Jason Morrow brings more than 20 years of experience in technology and communication management and deployment. He is a successful entrepreneur with a track record for building and leading dedicated teams – founding six businesses over the course of his career – three of which have subsequently been acquired. Jason founded AUS Information Systems in 1997 which has served as a launching pad for multiple companies in the web development, IP Telephony, and WAN spaces. In 2008, Jason co-founded Trextel to meet the technology needs of enterprise customers and was named CEO in 2009.
A veteran entrepreneur with a heart for helping others launch and grow successful businesses, Jason is actively involved as an early stage investor. He also serves on the board of Circle Media, an international technology company providing services in more than 25 countries around the world. Jason received a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
